CHILDREN
Crucial that the child gets plenty of rest.
Stop child from high-speed activities, such as riding a bike, roller skating, playing sports, etc.
Giving drugs to the child ONLY approved by pediatrician/physician.
Consult their health care professional about the child's return to school and activities.
Inform all of the childs caretakers, teachers, parents, babysitters, coaches, etc., so they can understand and help your child.
Adults
Get great amount of sleep at night, and rest throughout the day.
Avoid physical activities.
When you are cleared to return to everyday activities, take a gradual return.
Ask when it is safe to drive a car.
Talk to doctor and employer about gradual returning to work.
Take drugs ONLY approved by pediatrician/physician.
Do NOT drink alcoholic beverages.
Try to not multi-task.
Talk to family members or close friends before making important decisions.
Eat healthy.
Avoid use of electronics.
